The name Konishiroku is no longer used. The same for Sakura
color film (whjich I used to get from an importer in LA). It
was changed to Konica Corporation about 10 years ago.
While they were founded in 1873, making them Japan's oldest
photographic company, and produced the first Japanese Camera
in 1903 (making them the oldest camera manufacturer in Japan),
I am not sure what the original name was in 1873. I have to
look it up.
I know in 1903 it was Konishiroku Photo a name that stayed
until the 1980s.

Konishiroku is the full name of the company that makes Konica/Sakura
products. It used to be Konishi-ya but they changed it.
