Mamiya models RE: [KOML] Koni Models - Definitive List?

at http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/mf/mamiyauniv.html

re: Mamiya Universal
predecessor introduced in 1962 (90mm lens)
Mamiya Universal introduced in April 1969
several versions produced - chrome and black
  last model made in 1991

Personally, I think that the entire line of press cameras from the
Simmons Brothers Omega 120 to the last Mamiya Universal Press model of
1991 are of one lineage (like the Rittrick/Warner/Norita 66) and design
concept.

I think it would be more useful for newbies if we ultimately
covered the entire lineage of related press cameras, including the
earlier Omegas and the Konica Press variants up through the Mamiya press
series. The problems are mostly the same, but some may only be solved in
the later Mamiya models...

For one thing, if you really like the KOs, then you will probably
find some of the refinements of the later Mamiya production runs to be at
least worth knowing about, and possibly a solution to a few KO rangefinder
related problems due to enhanced flexibility and lenses for the mamiyas...

I am particularly impressed by the flexibility and lens choices of the
Mamiya Universal - a truly system approach to press cameras and the
ultimate development of this concept and lineage. Check out the Mamiya
press pages URL above to see some article exerpts/summaries for details...

The current Mamiya 6/6MF and Mamiya 7 are totally different. Mamiya press
(standard, model 23, and universal) owners have much more in common with
KO than anything else, for the above reasons, but don't seem to have a
list yet ;-) Might be an idea to expand our current scope to include them...
