John,  thank you for taking the time to post the info. from the manual.
I 
will include it in the web site.  Sounds as though you had a good deal
on 
your new Koni-Omega Rapid - this is my preferred camera at the moment.
The 
backs are not as robust as later versions, however the absence of a
steel 
darkslide is in my opinion an advantage.  I have lost count of the
number 
of times I have set up a shot only to find the cable release straining 
against the dark-slide interlock on my "200".  On the downside, I do
have 
some really good shots of the back of the darkslide curtains from my
Rapid 
;-)
