RE: [KOML] Sportsfinders-followup
Carl,
Please don't take it that I doubted you, I just found it interesting that
they would have a frame for the 60. But, I have seen stranger things.
Anyway, thank you for the reply.

Peter K. and others:
The information I submitted today was accomplished via the "bird in the
hand"
method.
If you have seen "Saving Private Ryan" and remember the scene when the squad
arrives at the German radar installation, this is what the front of my KO
sportsfinder looks like - one large radar antenna. There is a small viewer
in
the rear that substitutes for the camera viewer and a large piece of metal
in
the front.
The RO sportsfinder has three flip-up squares for each of the the three lens
sizes (90mm, 135mm and 180mm).
Maybe the logic for discontinuing the 58mm/60mm option relates the the
optical viewfinder and the fact that it would be used mostly for
landscapes,
not sports.

P.S. I picked up five eyecups on eBay that were NIB and still wrapped in
plastic. Why five? My frequently mentioned friend who got me hooked on
KO/ROs usually wants me to pick up parts when they appear as he has four
cameras. Now he is not anxious to reimburse me. I have some excess
equipment
that is being repaired by Greg Weber that will be sold. I do not have a way
to post images, but my descriptions can be trusted. I will inform everyone
here when the time comes.
