Jim,

I tested the infinity (and intermediate) focus several years ago using a
90mm.  I tabulated the actual data, but have misplaced it.  As I recall,
infinity on the 90 was somewhere around 65 feet (your mileage may vary).
Certainly by 1000', infinity will be achieved.

The discrepancy within the rangefinder/viewfinder suggests it may be off a
bit.  You may want to test the focus distance yourself.  I have seen
references to alignment procedures for the rangefinder on this list.
