You may well have, Peter. I just didn't see it in a quick scan of Part III. I
knew my 2.8F had the parallax compensation, but I didn't want to say the 2.8C
had it when I didn't know for sure. I make enough mistakes by accident that I
don't need to be adding to them on purpose! [:-)

The Mamiya C-3X series does have parallax correction, but it's not nearly so
slick as Rollei's implementation. It consists simply of a red bar that intrudes
into the top of the frame to show the cutoff point, but it doesn't show the
added part at the bottom.

The paramender is a mechanical "jack-up" device that, after composing, one uses
to raise the body the distance between the lenses. Never had one, so in its
place, I've simply measured that distance between the lenses, then cranked up
the tripod column by that amount after composing. Works great every time I
remember to do it!
